Channel Maintenance Renewal Rep
Job Overview
This position is responsible to call on assigned accounts within a designated geographic territory. Responsible for renewing storage, security and enterprise modelling software solutions the representative will also develop cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Clear and
pleasant phone voice as well as courtesy and tact is essential. This position also requires strong judgment and initiative in determining sources of information and in selection of significant data. The candidate should be able to communicate ideas and thoughts clearly,
concisely and accurately both in writing and orally.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet or exceed maintenance renewal revenue quota goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
* Work closely with the local sales team to increase the Cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to existing customers that are due to renew.
* Develop and maintain and competency level by attending mandatory training classes and successfully completing required exams.
Position-Specific Decision-Making Authority
* Generally works without consulting their manager.
* Independent decisions are made weekly.
* No significant budgetary or other financial accountability.
* Does not supervise (hire, evaluate, and/or terminate) other employees.

* Handle straightforward problems that occur in everyday work, refer more complex problems or decisions to others
* Make routine decisions within established guidelines
Business Travel
Business travel of approximately 5 or less percent yearly is expected for this position.
Position-Specific Education, Experience and Certifications
Preferred Education
Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent experience in an IT, business sales related field.
Work Experience
Typically 1 year of Business Telesales experience with proven results in a quota-oriented environment and/or previous inside or outside sales experience, and an understanding of technology and technological innovations. Account management experience and relevant experience in sales for the technology industry; or both, is a plus.
Specific Skills and Certifications
High energy, goal-oriented, persistent self-starter. Strong team skills. Creative problem solving abilities. Professional communication skills. Must be extremely detail-oriented,enthusiastic and a quick learner. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
